The sheet-metal shop
Jacobs and Rhodes fabricates its own sheet metal. When your replacement needs a new transition, plenum or run, it is cut and formed on the shop's plasma table for your house, not forced together from whatever stock fittings are close enough.
Install day
Before anything comes off the wall, floors and finished surfaces are protected. The crew removes and disposes of the old equipment, then fits the new ductwork and line set.
Start-up and follow-up
Every new system gets a full start-up and systems check, and someone shows you how it works before the crew leaves. A follow-up visit comes after, then maintenance, and each install carries the 100% customer satisfaction guarantee: if you're not satisfied, we'll fix it for free.

Since 1961
Larry Jacobs relocated from Portland and opened Jacobs Heating in Richland in 1961. It became Dean-Jacobs Heating, then Jacobs and Rhodes when Bob Rhodes joined Larry, and by the late ’70s it had settled on Clearwater Ave in Kennewick, where it still is.
1982
Larry retires and sells to his friend Jack White and partner Les Krupke.
1992
Les Krupke carries Jacobs and Rhodes on for twenty years.
2012
Jeff and Carrie Wamboldt take over; Jeff came from HVAC wholesale as a Lennox territory manager.
2023
In March, Gary and Jake Lysher become the owners. The family that treats you like family.
Big Red, the red-and-cream Ford pickup out front, has rolled in the Christmas Parade, and Ted the Tin Man is the company mascot.
