How the financing applications work
Financing is third-party, through Daikin, Lennox and Tri-CU Credit Union applications. Those applications use a soft credit pull and can approve you in seconds, which is why a Get Pre-Approved option sits alongside the quote request. Which lender fits depends on the system you choose and how you like to borrow. The terms belong to the lender and appear on the lender's own application, not on this page.
Pre-approval changes the shape of the proposal. When the Comfort Engineer process reaches the cost estimate, it helps to know what range of system you are comfortable choosing between, and it can be the difference between repairing a tired system one more winter and replacing it on your own schedule. Rebates, credits and why registration matters
Utility rebates run through City of Richland, Benton REA and Benton PUD. Which one is relevant to you depends on who supplies the power to your house, and each utility runs its own program on its own rules. Jacobs and Rhodes registers installed products to maximise rebates, so the paperwork is handled as part of the job instead of left to you the week after the install. The energy-efficiency assessment in the Comfort Engineer process is where efficient options get identified in the first place.
Energy-efficiency tax credits are a separate track, and they are subject to change. That is why this page names no amounts, no dates and no eligibility rules: whatever it said would be out of date the next time the rules moved. Ask the office what is current, and take the question to your tax professional too.
